I'm a detail-oriented, self-confessed nerd who loves to look after other people's pets & houses.

It's always a load off your mind to know that everything in your place is taken care of when you're away -- and who better to do that than someone like me; I have over 20 years experience, don't drink, smoke or even do coffee -- though I might stay up late working on my laptop... but that's about as wild as it gets!

So far I've looked after dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, guinea pigs, chinchillas, bearded dragons, teen-aged International students & some adorable little kids. Often there's a garden to water, plants inside the house & newspapers to bring in off the porch, or packages to be signed for... you know, all the little things.

I have lots of patience & will quietly wait for your cat to come out from its hiding place -- even if it takes a week! After that we'll be getting along great with lots of brushing and purring going on.

I really love the opportunity that house-sitting gives me in the variety of different animals & neighbourhoods that I get to experience. Eventually I'll settle down somewhere, but for now I like the constant change.

My background is in photography & I will most likely take lots of pictures of your pets looking cute (at least that's the idea! sometimes they're shy) but I'll only use the photos on my website with your permission & I would never show information that would be considered personal -- just let me know your level of privacy & I will always act accordingly.
